Alex Quintanilla, LCSW
My goal is to improve the mental health of those who experience depression, anxiety, have a history of trauma, those that are having a difficult time coping with life’s challenges, and are motivated to make some changes in their lives.
I have been working with families, children, and adults since 2005 and obtained my Masters in Social Welfare from the University of California Berkeley in 2014. Following my masters degree I continued working with families, children, and adults with the focus on providing behavioral health services. I obtained my California Clinical License in 2018 and my Illinois Clinical License in 2021.
My approach as a clinician is person centered, solution-focused, and skills-based.
My process aims to support people by creating a safe space where they can reflect on how their life is going and to think about the constructive changes they want to see happen in their lives, while providing some skills that can help them in their journey.
